To be honest I never used the PIP-Boy radio. Especially not in Fallout 3, where I had a whole stack of music I threw in the ambient folder.

I listened to it at first, when it was new and fresh, but after I heard it loop a couple times I switched it off completely. Same thing for the GTA games.

Fallout 3 ambient music, more like all the Fallout 1 + 2 music I copied into the folder.

Hated the music in Fallout 3. New Vegas was an improvement though that got boring after a few days. Particularly liked the Frank Sinatra version of "Blue Moon". Wish I'd known about the music tracks update mod back when I was doing my play through.
