Danke du Pissflitsche. Bei mir haben Sie immer "Uhrenvergleich" gesagt. Kapierst du eh nicht.

For those needing a little reminding on Parker Lewis Can't Lose, here's a quick 30 second video reminder for you:

I would imbed it into the post but I can never get that working for me on the forums here.

You are proudly continuing your tradition of not understanding the subtleties and subtext of human interaction, blöde Fotze.

Jaja, is klar. Speaking of subtleties of human interaction, "blöde Fotze" ("stupid cunt") is a gender based insult. You wouldn't say to a guy. Use "Deine Schwester hat schöne Brüste." instead.
That being said, I'm not misunderstanding anything. Point is that when I was a kid I watched Parker Lewis in German of course. So I knew they say "Uhrenvergleich!" (watch comparison) in the German dub. But this wouldn't work when talking to someone who presumably had seen the English original. So I actually looked it up and my first idea was "Timecheck!", but nope. Then I looked up "Parker Lewis watches" and indeed, I found a few hundred hits for "Synchronize watches!".
Now I don't mind being corrected about it at all. However I don't get why you have to be such an annoying troll about it. It shouldn't become a habit you know. :D

Channel Four is currently showing a miniseries called Black Mirror, created by Charlie Brooker. Its three episodes are connected thematically only, giving modern media and communication the "What if?" treatment. They're not wildly original, but I definitely enjoyed the first two parts - it's not often that e.g. "What if the British Prime Minister were forced to have sex with a pig, live on TV?" manages to be poignant.
If you like Brooker, they're well worth checking out IMO.

I heard the first episode was brilliant so I've got it already, Thirith.

The reviews are somewhat lukewarm (both for the first and second episode), and especially on the Guardian webpage's discussion threads there seems to be a lot of Brooker backlash. Regardless of those, I found both thought-provoking and very well made. The individual elements aren't particularly original, but they're combined in a way that make them work as drama, thought piece, satire at the same time. As a result, I could imagine that some people find them a bit lukewarm, since they don't do one thing and one thing only.
When I heard about the premise of the first episode, I thought, "Ho hum. How witty." I tend to find satire-by-offense boring and facile. They played it absolutely straight, though, which really worked for me. I'll be interested in hearing your take on it, Scots.

Or maybe you're just overly literal...

Subtlety and subtext, m'boy.

Nah, I'm not overly literal. I just know German better than you do. And that's just normal.
But I admit it's mildly funny to see you trying to contest that, because you're oversized ego makes you think you cannot be wrong. Like watching a teenager trying to clear up some controversial issue, that the rest of the world have been bungling, more or less provocatively, for a long time.
EDIT: Maybe we should take this to another thread or something. From past experience I know that the others don't find our skirmishes half as interesting.
