Here's the thing, after the Mission "The House of Widow Moira", where you steal the compendium form Moira, you appear again in the Keeper's Library, but what next? On every Walkthrough it is said to go to the forbidden library, but nothing happens, the guard is still saying tis forbidden, and through the secret passage nothing happens, and the Objective "Search the library for clues about the dark age" is still there, as it was not completed before, The compendium is listed among the items i carry, i think it is well bugged, can someone help me on this part? i dont know how to advance in the game, thanks

Do you have the Glyph Key, yet? If not, go back to the Sunken Citadel. List every objective on your in-game list, if you haven't already, please. Have you been up to all levels in the circular Forbidden Library and read the books and scrolls on the stands?

My Current Objectives are:
Search the Library for clues... ( pending )
Find a boat in the docks and take to the captain moira's seaside mansion to steal the compendium of reproach ( completed )
Only these two, and i believe i got the glyph key, i tried reading the books three times already, even if i wanted to return to the Sunken Citadel, there's no glyph on the wall in the sewers in the docks, it's very weird, it's like going back in time.

You cannot return to a mission once completed. So you will never get back into the Citadel.
The compendium will be used later. If you have left the Citadel you have completed that mission. You cannot leave any mission until all objectives are done.
In the library you need to go to the book stand to the right as you exit the elevator, or to the left if you come in from the hallway.
It is at the very end of the mezzanine in that small room.
At the upper level of the library you will find Cadace's room and some other items.
If you just finished Moiras mansion, your next mission is the CLOCKTOWER.
You cannot do the missions out of order, nor shortcut the use of the various items you find along the way. They are only useful at a specific point in the game.
You do need the climbing gloves, however. Without them you cannot do the CLOCKTOWER mission, which is the next in line after Moira's Mansion.
You can bypass the quard, (use water arrows or noise arrows and sneak past him) you can also sneak into the "Forbidden Library" through the dorm room of the keepers in training.

I've tried all that already, even buying the gloves and all, guess i'll have to load a savegame and try all that again, to see if it completes the objectives

The book/information most people miss is not in the FORBIDDEN LIBRARY. It is in the main library on the second level.
