Ah, snuggling to a woman's shaved-smooth armpit (extra points if it smells good!).
Ah...memories...

Way low in my opinion. No way 14 guys out of 100 can be diggin on hairy pits.
I think the breakdown is that 86 men can't stand it at all, 11 men can tolerate it provided she's hot enough otherwise, 2 men are French and love it, and then there's Duck, who likes to put his face in and pretend he's got a French pit hair mustache (OUI OUI).
edit: and I want to add that shortly after typing out the above statement, I went outside and saw a coyote run across my front yard.

I found this to be rather enlightening.

Dismaying, but enlightening. I shall never buy another Harper's Bazaar mag again .... not that I've ever bought any anyhow. Just sayin'.
What kind of deodorant? The clear stuff that doesn't turn into little paste-like balls when you sweat a lot. Either lilac or baby powder scented. I especially like the stuff that doesn't sting like a sonofabitch after I've just shaved my frakkin' armpits.
Which I shave because I don't want to offend some
moron's person's delicate sensibilites.
Go figure.

There are some women who want men to shave off all their body hair, so it's all kinda coming around full circle in a weird sorta way.
Me? I don't have to worry about it. Due to the genes I inherited from my damn dad, my legs went from viking hairy to just about bald when I was around 23. It's a good thing I've got some decently sized calves, cuz I'd have some very smooth, womanly legs otherwise.
Dia on 3/5/2013 at 02:09
The only way I can have 'smooth, womanly legs' is to spend 10 minutes every day shaving them. And the whole 'smooth' effect is blown if I get goosebumps in between shavings.
:p
I don't know that I'd like to see men with babybutt-smooth bodies, honestly. The itching when hair starts growing back just in armpits & on legs is bad; I can't imagine how maddening it would be over your whole body.

I've read somewhere that hairlessness of women is result of prostitutes shaving their body hair to avoid crabs and other nasty little insects that like to migrate from naked body to naked body.
On the other hand, in some parts of the world women have been shaved all over (apart from the head) for thousands of years. Maybe it is simply because hair is a sign of testosterone - men with very hairy bodies are more likely to be otherwise "manly", too, and woman must be the opposite of that in every possible way. Which is kinda silly, since it's testosterone that makes a woman lustful ;)
(I use Urtekram Crystal Lime.)

When I grew up I remember women didn't have shaved underarms. I don't know if it was some hippie thing or because we were so far removed from the latest fashion trends, what with us living behind a wall and all that.
I guess I still wouldn't mind if women didn't shave there, as long there aren't huge bushes that can be seen with arms down. But it doesn't matter what I mind or like, because they all shave anyway.
I think it's weird how much women generally buy into a beauty ideal that is largely a product of advertisements. In my experience at least, women are the first ones to point out that another woman is "fat" even if she's not. Many are really competitive about these things. Men on the other hand only superficially go with the flow, they all want a lanky girl to parade around before their friends but lots of them actually prefer a woman with T&A and get such a woman in the end. For a long time men also seemed immune towards beauty ideals for themselves, but that is changing a bit.

That's thanks to patriarchy, obv.
faetal on 3/5/2013 at 09:01
That might be over-simplified. Do I go to the gym to make myself look more attractive because of matriarchy?
Doing things to feel attractive are fundamental. What makes x sexy can be cultrually driven, as I'm sure hair removal is.
I get waxed regularly because I'm super-hairy and it's not considered attractive. Matriarchy again, or just human adaptation to trends?
(or were you being sarcastic?)
