I am an audio engineer and I've never heard of Etekcity before, so I would not recommend that one. Products by ZOOM are pretty reliable but they will cost more than the one you found on Amazon. If you are on a tight budget I would recommend getting a microphone attachment for your cellphone if you have a newer phone, because the audio processing in a modern cellphone will be way better than a cheap field recorder.

Thank you Phantom, good thing you mention the cellphone, because it happens that i actually have a sound recorder app in my cellphone, what microphone do you recommend me to purchase for my iphone ?

If you have an iphone, you can get Rode SmartLav+. Rode has its own app called Rode Rec to ensure max compatibility.

It appears there are many microphones for IPhones, but I have never used any. I would take Judith's advice and get one that has it's own app available!

Thank you Judith and Phantom.
Nightshifter, for how much are you selling your Microphone ?
Yandros on 3/5/2017 at 20:27
I don't think he said he was offering to sell his... only that it was good quality for the price.

That said, Tascam recorders are very good, I used DR-05 mkII for single sound fx, voice, and ambience recording. Now I'm using Zoom H6, which is probably more than I'll ever need, but it met my expectations every time.
