What was your favorite custom gadget or weapon in Thief Fan Levels? [SPOILERS] - by Ryan Smith

Just recently, I played an FM called Unfortunate Formulae and it had a couple of really curious items: The Clockwork Mouse and the Shatterstar.
One of which is used to distract and attract enemy attention (like a cat playing with a mouse toy) and when it blows up, it emits black smoke (which I found counts as knockout gas).
The other is a frag grenade made into an arrow.
What were your 5 top favorite items to use in any fan level, doesn't have to be limited to just one mission. Here's mine!
1: Elemental Catalyst from Thief 2X. Having so many different uses and options for arrows is amazing and adds serious replay value to the game. Confusion arrows ftw!
2: EMP Grenades (also from Thief 2X). Finally! Something to put out those damn electrical lights with.
3: Necromantic Arrows (I forget which FM), which summon zombies to fight for you (and against you if you're not careful).
4: Swords that deal holy damage (like from The Inverted Manse) because nothing is more satisfying than walking up to a zombie that's just chillin' like a villain and then tapping them with your sword. BAM! Zombie parts everywhere.
5: Rat transformation potion (FM unknown), the actual practical use isn't what appealed to me but instead, it's the concept of turning into a little critter for the purpose of getting into spaces no human could get into. :3

The clockwork mouse was originally done by Sliptip in Ashen Age Part 1.

But...wasn't UF released before Ashen Age?
I always thought the teleportation device in Insanity's Crescendo (Haplo) was awesome fun.

I believe the "necromantic arrows" you're referring to were from The Mirror of Return. At least, that's the only FM I remember playing that had these arrows.
Some of my own favorites:
Benny Bomb (Dance with the Dead): It's a bomb that summons a super-powered Benny to fight at your side. What more can you ask for? :)
Eye of Revelation (The Mirror of Return - Part 1): Lets you see invisible objects and see through objects that aren't really there - great for hunting secrets! It's also one of this campaign's many references to the N64 Zelda games, so that's a plus.
Staff of Far Reach (Broken Triad): Lets you trigger buttons and switches from a distance without wasting an arrow.
EMP Grenade (T2X): Same reasons as the OP; something that can disable electric lights and more easily take out Mechanist machines is a godsend.
Elemental Catalyst (T2X): Same reasons as the OP; grants you a lot more versatility with your arrows, allowing for new kinds of emergent gameplay.

-Elemental catalysts in T2X
-Similar to the Staff of Far reach, there's an actual weapon like that in Rebellion of the Builder mission 1 (Mystic Estate), which shoots beams at your enemies
-Dark Grenade (Ink and Dust): summons a Haunt that will fight for you

Keeper's Amulet from Broken Triad mission 2 is by far my favorite.
Magical Sword from Calendra's Legacy. Mainly because it turns Garrett darker.
Ballistic Missiles from Inverted Manse. Probably the most powerful weapon I've seen.

You are correct, sir. My mistake.
