No game was ever so satisfying on so many levels for me. Thief quickly became the one game I could finally say I loved (gosh!). Other games were fun, but lacking. With LGS's games, even the flaws were more fun and even fascinating than annoying.:laff:

Except that there isn't a single FM you can't jump atop everything that rises to your head.

FMs? That would be by design if it's not OMs, too. And even then, it's usually by design--the ol' invisible walls.

Maybe it's because it's late afternoon on a Friday but would you be so kind to rephrase that because I do not have a clue what you were trying to say. :laff:

Er, sorry, I wrote that a wee bit after I woke-a up.
I'm just saying: It's retarded when there is this one thing you can't jump on; that has no possible impact on you beating that mission, but it would still be fun to do it anyway!!!

And this is including areas that wouldn't give you a long line of site somewhere beyond that could cause a scene complexity error crash?

No, just something I can jump up on to escape from guards.

Now, I admit I haven't really brought this up before. So I will: The music in Thief and its sequels is by no means "perfect". I'll admit it goes hand in hand with the gritty style of Thief (Well, it's cutscenes, anyway), but no matter what, I just can't seem to tap my foot to it...
Not that I don't like it. I hope they bring Eric Brosius in for the development of Thi4f. Really, I do...
... Just. Well, I thought the games I used to play on my old Snes had better music... Sorry...
Personal opinion.

Uh. It's abstract, slow, and tension-building, not action-game rhythm to drive you forward. It's meant to be weird and otherworldly, not catchy.
