I don't know what you're grinning about - being ninja'd by Tannar is a very painful experience.
Thank you for the full explanation. I've caught up. I am slow but I do often get there in the end.

Then I'm glad it was on the internet, not real-life ninja'd.
Hah, I never thought of you as slow. English is my second language after all, so I'm kind of prepared to explain myself when loan translation or mental shortcut gets in the way.

Was thinking earlier today of ideas for a short term contest. Sort of like the 10 rooms contest we did a few years back.
How about something like a "Single Objective" contest, where there is literally only one objective to complete? With maybe a month of building time. Could be fun to create a series of fast/quick missions for everyone to play.
Alternative idea - Create a mission that can or must be completed in X amount of time (maybe 10 or 15 minutes). One example: a bomb is going off in 15 minutes and you must accomplish X before that happens. Maybe it's possible to complete everything in 3 minutes, but if you get past 15, the mission ends and you have to start over.

You mean like "Run, Garrett, Run"? It's too bad Dromed eludes me.

I totally support this idea, or ideas rather. Whichever would work for me. I wouldn't mind making a small, simple mission in order to get back into Dromed properly. I'm particularly fond of the "Single Objective" contest idea.

i hate the timed mission so please i begg of you no mission with time limits,i remember that one in a 3-4 story museum where you had a time limit ruined my experience big time, never had time to enjoy the map
what about a mission to recreate a ride from an amusement park, like the jungle cruise at Disney land, haunted house, what ever ride people like enough to recreate, space mountian/materhorn/etc could be any ride type and over all they are small so it fits the idea cardia had in size, maybe even pirate of the Caribbean ,what you think
i use to have a video showing what i mean but i cant find it anymore, still looking wil add if i find it
or maybe recreate a mission from thief 3,set it up in a way where each person picks the mission they want to do and maybe we could get the entire game redone :P
hint hint kershak
or use that thief 3 hub for thief 2 again to make some quick missions

Single Objective sounds good. Very open ended and I bet there could be creative entries that really surprise us!

I like the "Single Objective" concept. It may appeal to DromEd dabblers (such as myself) as well as seasoned veterans.
The missions could still take place in a non city environment.
We could present this as a "Release that Mission" contest. I am sure there are plenty of would be authors who have an FM just waiting to be set free, perhaps if that mission was given just a single objective it may give them (and me) the impetus to create a finished product.
This may be the case for more accomplished authors too.

One objective for the entire mission or one objective at the time? Got some idea, btw I'll have a favor to ask you Purgator when contest starts.

One objective for the entire mission, like "Get out of the mansion alive!"
