It would be cool if there was a mission for each faction in the Thief universe (IE Hammers, City Watch, Mechanist, City Wardens)
Pagans I'm pretty sure would be a no go due to their distain of technology and Keepers may not be a good fit for them, but hey is someone is creative enough then many will enjoy them.

Lost worlds are my fave mission setting, so an "ancient places" contest gets my :thumb: Daylight missions also get a :thumb:

Don't really like daylight or exotic places and with the decline of missions per year I'd rather see something more Thief 2 oriented. The daylight makes me think, why oh why, wouldn't i wait till dark?
I propose an [ Adventure style city mission ]:
It would be a mission inspired by advanture games, where progression through the mission would include things like:
-> finding the oil -> using it on a lamp -> turning the lamp on to trigger an event -> guards move (Broken triad)
-> finding the herbs,ingredients -> mixing the ingredients -> creating a sleep potion -> slip it in drink -> now player can access something
Trying to achieve absorbing missions with familiar puzzle problems added to thief to expand the experiance which is most of the time just: steal this, steal that, read this, read that.
For me the theme for contests has too many times been bizare.
I'd also suggest that the contest take at least 3 months, perhaps maybe 4-6 so that we get some decend missions to play.
I'd put in 50euros for reward pull for such a contest.

Yeah, this year needs more contests - an ancient place contest is something I'd try to join in, too. I love exploring ancient places!
