Walking Dead the TV show is one of the worst shows on television that isn't Metalocalypse, a Seth Macfarlane cartoon or True Blood. Say what you will about the comic -- it certainly has its flaws, not least Rob Kirkman's tendency to kill off huge swaths of the cast (he does that with Invincible too) but the show is a slap in the face to fans of the comic, to fans of zombie media, and to people who enjoy good television.

I enjoyed the Walking Dead. Currently watching Breaking Bad (oh yeah!), True Blood and Curb Your Enthusiasm .

I don't know what to think about folks who don't like Walking Dead. I like it better than the comic, which was flat as far as character development. These people evolve and interact in interesting ways. Like real people. The story always draws me in. Certain scenes will suddenly reveal an aspect of someones character held in reserve or on the cusp of breaking. The bar scene where Rick draws out the real intent of the two affable though with veiled evil intent strangers into a culmination of sudden skillful death was perfect. Perhaps those who like two dimensions can't fully appreciate three and the resultant complexity of depth thus created in character. I don't know. I don't care. I like it. I want to know what happens next. I hope the creators don't listen to nay sayers and try to spice it up with cartoonish unrealistic tough guys or over the top drama. It's crazy enough as it is and flows naturally. I'll miss Shane but every damn thing led to his death in a vortex of inevitability pulled down by his very beliefs and inclinations.
Louie? I watched one episode where he followed a black woman home hitting on her all the way and it was skin crawling creepy with a few nervous not worth it chuckles.

It's not a trap, just a question. I'm interested because I'm always on the look out for new things. I never would have watched The Wire if it wasn't for TTLG.
Have you noticed how negative you've become lately? I almost don't interact with you on the forums at all anymore because you're so snipey and defensive or just plain rude.

But since it's a comedy isn't playing up what's silly about metal sort of the point?

It's definitely not just him. To my mind you very much seem to be going through phases, and recently you seem to have been more negative, defensive and pissy, with touches of you vs. TTLG.
