Okay, another song search. I heard it on the radio about 2 weeks ago on a station that plays popular new music but in 'off' genres such as softer jazzy pop, nora jones, some kings of leon, jewel, somewhere over the rainbow ukulele version, etc.. Anyway, it's a jazzy song with a straight foreward tempo of 100-110bpm 4/4, younger male singer with a cool voice (kind of like coldplay but no accent and deeper voice), piano chords, it's a lovey song telling the girl how great she is and such.. I really don't remember any lyrics so I'm hoping someone out there has recently heard it.

That's most technical (yet generic) song description I've ever seen in a search like this. I don't know yet if it's better or worse than "That song we'd hear during that one summer holiday in France all night which was so great, you know?".
Anyway, Teitur - The girl I don't know, filmed in an actual strip club, starring Teitur and "Jade". So cover your children's eyes and cry your own out.

unfortunately that's not the one.. Think a little more 'piano jazzy' but still with a simple versechorusversechorusbridgesoftversechoruschorusend type structure

Believe me, that thought crossed my mind but I'm not certain what station it was on, I was listening to the radio at the time flipping through stations when I heard it. I've been looking for a song to perform at a friends wedding and it seems like the perfect choice being that it's new and she's totally into jazzy love songs. I tried to remember the chorus at the time but forgot it by that night. It was something very simple though. gah there are so many radio stations in seattle, it's going to be impossible to track down which one I was listening to!

You gave yourself an almost impossible task! ... If all you remember are the most generic features, there's not much to go on. I had this problem for a long time with John Mayer's Heart of Life. I knew it had a really catchy hook, started with a slide guitar bit, but never caught any lyrics or the singing voice well enough. I searched for *everything* I could think of like you're talking about, the type of chords, instruments, male vocalists, the time period, the station I heard it on. But I finally just had to wait until I heard it again months later and made dead sure I caught at least one full lyric (even that was hard to do).

As an aside, I think we need more indicative swears or we'll all be thinking of songs concerning a four letter word starting with d.

I know, I resorted to doing just that demagogue, random youtube searches, one thing led to another which somehow led to Michael Bublé and I was like 'this song sucks, but the voice is spot on' so a few more curious 'related video' clicks later, I found my golden ticker! Michael Bublé - Everything (

Thanks for the help anyway, that was a horribly tortuous search. woohoo! :joke:
edit of important addition: DAMN
edit 2: after second listen, this song kind of sucks too, but she'll eat it up. Stupid bride.

I'm sorry.... I can't listen to yet another song by some young male singer telling some strumpet how great she is. Especially if it's kinda like Coldplay.
