My apologies if there's a recent thread along these lines - a quick search hasn't found anything, although that may be down to me just having got up and not being awake yet...

There's this C-64 game I used to play ages ago, and I can't for the life of me remember what it's called or find it using obvious keywords. In the game, you play a little droid who's working as a short-order cook. You get orders for different menus and have to prepare the food, getting the right ingredients, cooking them for the right length of time etc. IIRC your main screen is the kitchen, where you have the stove, fridge and other things side by side and you basically zoom around sideways preparing the food.

Does anyone else remember the game or what it's called? I think it would've come out in the mid- to late '80s.

Nah, it wasn't abstract 'cooking' as in Burger Time- IIRC you had to do things like zoom over to the fridge, get out the hamburger patties, zoom to the stove and put on the meat, get the buns and salad, get the patty once it's cooked (but not burnt), put the whole thing together in the right sequence etc. At the same time you'd get orders for different dishes as well, so you'd have to juggle all of these things without burning stuff, forgetting ingredients etc.

Nah, I highly doubt facebook was around then, but the game does sound very much like something you'd find there, is all. ;)

Thanks a lot - that's the one! I half remembered the droid's name, although I thought it was Flynn at first... What keywords did you look for? I didn't find anything, but that may be because the game was originally German and I only looked for English search terms.
