Limited continues on a game as hard as Battletoads is a prime example of retarded.
At least Ninja Gaiden for the NES had the courtesy to give you unlimited tries while it mocked you.

Until you got to the last act. Then it laughed at you when it sent you back to 6-1 after a single attempt at its really hard multi-stage final boss :P

That trailer is DIRE. I think I may ignore my curiosity on this occasion and leave it in the past. My backlog is looking weighty enough anyhow. Especially as how ME3's imminent release is giving me the itch to replay the first 2.
LOL, CGI cutscene trailers. There's a demo available at the link which you posted. Should give you ACTUAL impressions of the game, unlike a montage of pre-rendered cutscenes.

The 2005 part is the really curious bit. Everything about that from style to subject to music screams 2000 at the very latest.

Oh I owned it once. Played it for a fair while but the progression curve put me off. Yeah, it's a bit behind its time. I remember SOME of the gameplay being pretty compelling if you really gave it a chance (and I mean really gave it a chance). It was largely quite rubbish though.

I think I played the demo, I might have the disc it came on lying around somewhere. I'll let you know if I find it.
Well, it
is the one I was thinking of. :p
