How the title says, what's your favourite faction and why?
welll... my favourite faction are the Mechanists, because their armours are cool  and they have the highest tech for that age, it's my opinion, now i want to see more :D.
Everyone are welcome to Opine and say what's your favourite faction (Hammerites, Keepers, ect) ^^
P.D: sorry about my english :p

Hammerites, of course. When I met them in Cragscleft and Undercover I couldn't stop laughing, with all their adages and the little whistlings (not sure if this is a word, but anyway, you know what I mean). Everytime I see them I want to give them a hug. And they are not only funny, also very fascinating.

The City Watch in Thief 2. They had uniforms, funny lines and shiny bobby hats. Their corruption was nice too, although pretty much expected. :)
The Watch lost their feel of authority in TDS. They were boring and they looked like every normal guard. Except the other guards were interesting and unique.

The hammerites. I like hearing them pray and sing.

The City Watch & Guards. They say the funniest things! (In a recent FM I was being chased by a guard who said, 'Oh Hell! I'm gonna get in trouble for this one!' (or something like that)) They seem to have more personality than either the Mechanists and/or the Hammerites, who just walk around praying and chanting all the time. ;)

Hammers from T1. The voice acting really sold them.

The Hammerites art the best, you just can't beat a bunch of of sledgehammer wielding fanatics!
JonesCrusher on 1/7/2009 at 23:33
Oh its just got to be the Hammers....the fear they instill in me every time I meet them...from the hammer guards to the Hammer haunts, they are just so edgy all the time....I love playing amongst them!
but if I had to chose a faction to belong to...I would have to be a Bluewatch Guard...they have a great time...drinking,Donuts,Flirting with folks, guarding nice mansions, with great fire-places,your own footlocker...and choice of weapon, portable lantern, nice uniform, pension,Able to marry perhaps have children, enhanced pay...probably, for bad weather patrols and unsociable hours....and time and a half for weekends.:D..and all the overtime you could want.

I've always liked the idea of the Keepers. They were much better when they were mysterious though- TDS turned them into a bunch of bumbling retards.

I love the representation of the Keepers from the time of the Cataclysm and back, and those like the ones that trusted the Glyphs and believed Garrett was the thief the Prophecies spoke of and his purpose, like Artemus, Nate, Caduca, and his other contacts. The Keepers at their best are bad-ass and decent folk.
I love the way the Hammerites were developed so much in even just TDP. Seeds of truth taken to fanatical levels, worshiping their god through the work of their hands and minds.
I love the Pagan magic, chaos, and desires to keep The City away from their territory and to live simply, worshiping their god through the work of their hands, and by being who they are.
I love that Garrett instinctively knows, without being much aware that he knows, what the Achilles heel of ALL the factions are, and can undo their dangerous works repeatedly--if they can stick around after one of Garrett's visits.
