My five main nightmares:
1) A copy protection scheme which only allows a limited number of re-installs and/or doesn't work well on many systems for technical reasons.
2) The game being rushed to release, resulting in large cut-outs, an incomplete pot and too many bugs.
3) Over emphasis on graphics/physics at the expense of plot, gameplay and non-cutting-edge-computer performance.
4) A console-only release or a release designed for a console's imitations and then ported to the PCs with these limitations still in place.
5) Game being canceled for whatever reason.

Yeah, Square Enix decides that since Garrett hasn't got a last name, they name him Garrett Strife and make him into an emo.
