themetalian is right, though. Though sometimes I think that cats and PC games/work don't mix since they always seem compelled to jump up and walk around on your keyboard to see what you're doing or attack your hand when you move the mouse. :tsktsk:
It is worse when they are kittens, and they climb up your leg and unto your lap! Once I was on my computer playing Worms, and my cat (who was a 3 week old kitten) used her claws to climb up my leg! It hurt like hell! :wot:

Thankfully, all mine are past kittenhood. I used to get all scratched up. They have grown up enough to have some manners and not rip my legs apart.
My youngest cat, Pickles, is just over 1 yr old. She jumps in my lap & drapes herself across my front with her front legs over my shoulder. She holds on for dear life, so I've learned to just play around her.
Pumpkin, who is 2, lays on my desk with one paw resting on my arm so I don't forget he's there. As if I could forget a big hairy orange creature purring in my ear! He has 3 littermates who usually come pester me about 30 min before dinnertime, but they all stay mostly on the ground and just pick at my shorts.
Herman, the 20 yr old man, gets under the desk behind the computer and sleeps where he can get all the heat the PC makes.
I love kittens, but I'm glad mine are all grown up.
Holy Thief on 26/9/2006 at 13:58
I play Thief when its dark. In summer or winter. Although I do like to play Thief in autumn when our clocks go back and the nights are cooling down. Dark early nights make me feel more energetic and keeps my heart pounding. There's nothing much else to do.:bored:
Except curl up in the wolf furs, naked.:ebil:
My appologies for this comment. But its comming up to that time again.

Back to the original point, it's odd that i played Thief demo first time during a summer evening when it was quite hot weather.
Despite that, drips of cold sweat were pouring on my back and I had shivers.
Never forget.

Oh, I only wish I could play Thief on a cold winter's night. *sigh* I grew up in New Orleans where there are only 3 seasons: hot, wet and hot&wet. Texas isn't much better. Here, 60 degrees is when everybody pulls out the sweaters & jackets. Me, I'm in shorts unless it's below 50. I really envy y'all with the snowy, cold weather.

This is a highly international forum. ;)
Jacket for 15 degs C is quite appropriate I guess.

Sorry, you all seem so much like me, I forget I'm in the minority. :o Nice site, but  I gotta whip out my all purpose, handy dandy Palm Pilot converter program. I knew I'd use it one day! :joke: And really, doesn't the metric system make much more sense than inches?
Can you imagine shorts at 15 degs F or *drumroll - wait for it* -9.4 C? BBBRRR!!! I don't know if I'd be playing Thief then or huddling under the electric blanket with a frozen hubby & frozen cats.
