you can buy (http://www.eidosinteractive.com/games/info.html?gmid=34) thief gold here and (http://www.eidosinteractive.com/downloads/search.html?gmid=34) here for the 1 hour demo(same site) which can be bought as well. It doesn't tell you it's the gold version until you get to the details page but it is gold

I dont see why eidos cant release a content style patch. If anyone could make an ISO i would still really appreciate it

if you go to the second link and get the demo it will get a downloader that downloads the full 630mb thief gold. I have no idea why they done that but you do end up with the full game as an exe file
