A Canticle for Leibowitz, the original sci fi story about monkish orders preserving technology and knowledge after a catastrophe (modeled of course on what real religious orders did during the Dark and Middle Ages). The Illumanati ending would probably be the most likely ending. The world is the least changed. IT is like Bush and all the Republicans being booted out of the government leadin the independent and Democrats running the government.
Or instead of the oil companies running the world(Bob Page & Page Industries is close enough) a secret society does. What would you pick?

They both really don't sound like that good of choices. But if I only had those 2 to pick from ide take the first one. But Socialism or Communism would really be my choice and that is probably what Heilos would provide.
About Communism.
If the world turns out like Deus Ex in the future where there are multi-billionares and all poor with no middle class than Communism is the only choice you have. Everybody is equal. Whats soo bad with that(Forget Bill Gates)? Don't buy the bullshit the government has been feeding you your whole life. Besides the Soviet Union being really corrupt the citizens were really equal. But iam not turning this place into a political board and hopes nobody aruges with me saying that.
Now I really don't know what would happen if you do take out all of the golbal communication so iam not putting in my 2 cents aobut that.
