Tried emailing him quite a few months ago. Seems like he's dropped off the planet. Last post was in Oct 2013.
Hope he's OK.

not implying anything, but am I the only one here that has a solution in place that would make sure a few key people get informed in case I kick the bucket?

I tried setting up one of those once, but in the end all it did was make breakfast.

I wouldn't worry too much yet. It took Sly and The Phantom months to reply to my emails asking if they were alright. :cheeky:

I've left instructions with my wife to notify TTLG in case of my demise. I'm sure it will be one she'll submit with relish.
"When are you coming to bed?"
"Are you still working on that Thief crap?"
"Let me guess... Thief, right?"
"I closed that Dromed-whatever. It was slowing down my Facebook." (After it had been compiling for 3 hours.)

Mine would be happy to post here, "Sorry guys, Russ died so he won't be doing any more of this stupid Thief shit."

Having only gotten into tweaking existing maps in the last year or so, with compile times measured in minutes or sometimes only seconds, I can barely comprehend how the original LGS guys managed to create those maps.
