Perhaps the suffering of the Cradle, and the reason it remembers is because people remember the suffering that
it caused. So in reality, as soon as people forget the Cradle, it would end. Well, its not exactly easy to forget... Hold on, Im starting to go into rant mode.... {/rant}
Nightmare on Elm Street... everybody forget him and he'll go away.

Maybe the cradle wasn't itself cursed. Maybe, it was the Hag's presence that caused that? Either way, I'd be all for Drept blowing up the cradle...no presence of Drept after the first time ya talk to him, maybe they should've put him in? I wouldn't care if it was me stabbing gamall to death or drept hammering her to death...just as long as she died!

Ahh... I thought I'd heard the idea somewhere before. Oh well.
I do feel that Drept should have got a larger part, though. Perhaps help out in the catacoumbs and see Lauryl rest in peace at last. After all, its not like Garrett would care enough to bother telling him, not unless there was some loot involved.

Even that would make me happy. Gamall still needs to pay for her crimes. Really, flaying people is just to far. When you flay innocent little orphans, that's my breaking point. I will soon stop at no end just to watch her fly off the pier and into the water...or if she can't get up after falling, well, I'll just stab her again and again...
See, Garrett's character doesn't really suit my own ends. They could've given us some sort of satisfaction...

Perhaps this calls for a T2X style T3 FM base thingimy

T3X: Shadows of the Cradle

With Garrett as the thief this time, please. Thank you.
Oh; and not so many zombies, 'k? :erm:
Soul Shaker on 7/4/2006 at 21:20
Yes! Exactly what we need...
Huge problem though. T2X took ~5 years to complete... and that was with a team of 60
Now, with T3X, you'd need even more work, or at the same time, less. You may have to cut the briefings though, unless you can get Stephen Russell (is that right?) for it. Models? Same or changed? Changed always means wore work...
But in essence, yes, it could work. I might need to learn the Thief SDK though...ah well, easter holidays, week off!
Oh, I guess it would be based around the repercussions of the Cradle, eh?
Well, if anyone is actually willing, we could very well do it. Come on, look at it, We got a forum of people that can pump out the info and requests etc (just be careful how far) and I'm pretty sure more than a few modellers, coders etc for it...
So, what do ya think? I have a strong feeling that this will either be a big success or a big flop...

There's a TDS group project in the works already.
You could wait and see how that pans out before you commit to anything like T3X.
Cardel on 8/4/2006 at 14:09
Wow, we could really do this... though I dont have much experience in coding or T3Ed, I would be more than willing to help. At any rate, I guess my better work would lie more in writing the books/parchments needed, maybe even bits of the story... We gotta submit this to the T3 Editor's guild after their group project is done.
