Seen enough of the big cities in the first one. My town was mentioned in passing during the game so why not put it in for real. That being San Jose, Ca. I'd like to see what this place will look like in 50 years. <IMG SRC="thumb.gif" border="0">

Nah, Now no offense or anything, but SanJose Is just a huge, spread out Suburban mess scattered with office parks and shopping centers. The character couldn't get anywhere without having an automobile, and that would take away the fun of walking around talking to people. That's why it's set mostly in big cities--interaction,tightly packed streets, places to sneak around etc.

Well, that may be true, but I'm hoping to see if it gets improved upon. Like BART throughout the valley. (BART is like the Metro from France, btw). Besides, if it's familiarity this game needs, this is it ; for me anyway. :)

Chicago: there is a street downtown call Lower Wacker Drive, a winding underground thoroughfare beneath all the skyscrapers, and at night all the streetlights down there are green and so leave the appropriate futuristic cast. Also, downtown at night is practically devoid of people, a surreal emptiness about it, and a plethora of dark nooks and crannies to hide in. (Heh, heh, I live here too, BTW.)
San Francisco: contrary to what D'JK stated, this city is not all that nice. I used to live in the Tenderloin area, and think it cool to have Denton interacting with bums and transvestites, as well as infiltrating the gay Castro district to meet a contact, or going underground in the red light district in North Beach. It seems a natural continuation of the edginess in DX1 (The Lucky Money, La Porte de L'Enfer).
Amsterdam: the drug scene, the red light district, the labyrinthine canals, that you're not allowed to drive your car in key parts of the city.

Now that you're mentioning it: The cities from DX1 all were under martial law. T'would be funny to see cities just the way they actually are, including eg. cars that actually go somewhere and don't just stand around burning.
I know that's virtually impossible, but a little GTA touch would be so cool.

Venice - It is seemingly soaked in conspiracies :)
Cairo - Simply because it would be spiffy and would look spectacular in the Unreal Engine.
London - The fog. The zero-buffer zone flats.

What I'm wondering is whether they'll have scenes that actually take place in the daytime.

Not sure I'd like to see Berlin. There are some pretty good places here for a game scenario, but I'd compare too much.
Prague seem and ideal setting.
