I only use NewDarkLoader now, it has the best features of all of the loaders.
On the topic of mission names and folders, personally I wouldn't want to scroll through 1000+ FMs when looking for the one I want to play. Instead, I have my FM collection stored elsewhere in an archive folder, and then I have a separate "current FMs" folder that just contains ones I'm currently playing or have played recently. I usually have no more than 20 missions in there, so it's easy to find what I need.

I still mostly use Darkloader 4.3, but I also don't play very many FMs since I'm usually working on my own. I do plan to migrate fully to NewDarkLoader once DCE is released, though. Like Brethren, I have all my FMs in an organized set of folders and subfolders, and only point Darkloader at a Current FMs folder with a much smaller number in it (plus a number of folders containing beta test versions of my own missions).

I use NewDarkLoader for TG, T2, T3, and SS2. I used darkloader before and love the layout and seeing the actual names of the fan missions.

started with darkloader 4.3,,then i went to fmsel,now back to darkloader 4.3 due to the fact when i deleted shortcut for fmsel it took it from main files so i lost it,don't want to reinstall game unless mandatory
heard about the new darkloader might try that next when the time comes

Dark Loader. Only thing I hate is if you delete a mission from your fm's folder, it gets expunged from the ini file. So all your comments, ratings are gone

I haven't tried NewDarkLoader yet. Honestly, this is the first time I've heard about it. :p
For TDP and TMA, I've been using FM Sel. I haven't played any TDS missions in years, having previously used Garrett Loader and then lacking the time to figure out what newer gizmo I should load them in.
Though I might switch to NDL soon enough, I like FM Sel. It's nice and tidy, low on the resources, though it does lack a few features and takes some setting up to get working.

FMSel in TMA... Still using regular Darkloader for TG and SS2 FMs.
