Still using DarkLoader 4.3. I don't see a reason to change.

NewDarkLoader. Basically has almost all of the functionality of FMSel with a good interface and features of Darkloader. I do still use the old Darkloader for stuff like poking into other's missions to study them or testing things in them.

Me too. :ebil:
Fortuni, this could have been a subject for a poll ... would be interesting since not everybody wants to write a post. :cool:

Looks like a pretty even split between Darkloader & FMsel with NDL running in third, but those who have migrated to NewDarkloader seem pretty convincing that NDL is the way forward, so maybe it won't be in third place for long.
* Darkloader
7* FMsel
8 * NewDarkloader
4It's too bad these forums don't have any way to create some sort of list of things that people would click on and then it would count the number of clicks on each thing and then present the count of all the things in some sort of visually pleasing bar graph. Because that would have been great.

NewDarkloader for me. I like having the features of the original Darkloader.

I count 7 for newdarkloader. All 3 are still popular.

Sarcasm, the highest form of wit....I think not!
If you had not been so eager to rush to your keyboard you would have read the following in my original post.

I wanted to run a poll for this question but I don't seem to be able to work out how to do that :grr:

I'm really surprised that more Darkloader users have not started using NDL, the interface is the same and I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that you can transfer your notes from DL to NLD.

I use BennyLoader! Er, I mean NewDarkLoader.

4As for why I have 900+ missions in my folder....a few years back a picked up a serious virus from Photobucket and 80% of my files got scrambled forcing me to take my computer back to factory settings, so I lost all my Darkloader notes. When I got involved in updating the Mission by Type thread I just loaded everything into FMsel with the intention of going through them all one day and categorizing all my T2 missions into Rubbish / Ok, but no need to play again / The Best.....but i have never got around to it...O well maybe one day :D
As for marbleman's idea of unzipping the contents into a new folder and naming that folder what ever you wish, never would have crossed my mind to do that, but once I have finished updating the T3 walks I intend to finish with FMsel and join team NewDarkloader :thumb:
Just noticed this thread and I want to aggressively toss in my vote for NDL to help bump it up to first place. But I never used Darkloader or FMsel (well, once). I started off last century with Garrettloader and finally retired it a few months ago. With NDL, I've re-discovered Deadly Shadows (thanks to R Soul & snobel for their efforts in getting the TDS patch to work with the downloader). My original intention was to play the first 2 missions of Deadly Shadows to make sure things were working properly, then go onto Fan Missions, but I'm enjoying the original game too much (at Shalebridge Cradle, Stephen Kings's birthplace). So I can't vouch for any FM's and their stability with NDL yet.
