Not your favorite, or even the one that was the most technically impressive. Many of the FM's out there rival the original games (and certainly surpass T3) in terms of atmosphere and architecture. I suspect that many people on the T4 team have not played many FM's, or will even have the time to set up their PC's for such a thing right now. But if you could list 3 FM's for them to draw inspiration from, which three would it be (campaigns can count as one, but preferably, pick a single mission)?
1) Ominous Bequest (Eshaktaar)
2) Goblins (Gaetane)
3) While the City Sleeps...(Raen/Sledge - T2X)

I've got to play more FMs tbh. And it strikes me that there is a maaaaassive pool of talent in this community re: Thief mapping. A few have been headhunted over the years, at least one for official Thief stuff (Sledge), but I really think that it's not enough - there is untapped potential awaiting the plunder.

Aside from having the devs play through TDP and TMA (okay, and TDS, but only for the graphics :p ), I think they'd benefit from checking out:
The L'Arsene series
The Nightfalcon series
The Lord Ashton series
The Rocksbourg series
The Love Story series
and .....
Oh hells bells!! I think they should just assign a team of about 20 people to play through ALL the FMs!!! And the devs should definitely pay attention to our 'What do you want to see in T4' etc. threads. Works for me! ;)

I would like to hear if the Dev's have indeed played any FM's at all? If they haven't, they should.
