Okay, everybody, I just did some research, and I found out that Tool' has been making the same trollish statements for years. I wanted to see if these comments were a recent trend or if they were inherent. They are inherent. People keep responding to his comments, anyway. Of course we have to say something in case someone reads the thread and might agree with Tool'.
At least ZylonBane usually has a point, and it's not merely to commit arson on the internet.
Attempts to correct Tool's flawed beliefs that we bash and hate TDS, as opposed to feeling disappointed, haven't been received.
His joke about community projects being finished years after the teams' goals and how he implies that this makes the projects irrelevant, unworthy, and a waste of time, or whatever he seems to want us to get from his joke, has been told many times. And only Tool' thinks it's a joke funny enough to repeat. Attempts to correct have not been received.
His comments about us being "afraid of change" and us not liking TDS "because it's a different engine" have always been met with the facts and/or emotional opposition from those who know better. Correction has not been received.
He repeated a trolling statement that we petitioned for T3Ed and once we got it in our hands we didn't do anything with it. He was corrected, but he brought it up again, anyway.
The pattern, folks, makes it clear that this sociopathic Tool' isn't gonna stop. He's not the only one, I know.

I'm going to have to disagree with you, jtr7.
I'd say ToolFan exists on the opposite end of the spectrum of those that reflexively trash TDS.

I'll just say this. I'm under the impression that the point ZB usually has--not always has--is a demand for integrity, a hatred of dumbing-down, especially of minds...
...even at his own expense. I believe he's fully aware how he grates on people. I just don't believe he gets off on the emotional reaction, like a troll. I think he wants to bludgeon or slap people into a higher mental state. I could be wrong. However, I remember when ZB had a sense of humor, and wasn't so angry all the time. Anger always bubbling but not scalding all the time.
ZB's a litmus test. If he doesn't flame you or someone in your thread, life is good or he hadn't gotten around to you. When he corrected me once, he was relatively reserved, yet there was no mistake it was ZB. I took it as a compliment.
His seemingly persistent anger is worrisome to me. It seems to have grown over the recent years. If he wasn't so angry I'd ask him for his opinion on some of my writings 'cause I know he wouldn't hold back. I do miss the humor that used to lace his flames....
I don't consider those who like TDS to be morons, idiots, or trolls for making enthusiastic comments. I do consider it trolling when a post is written that ignores the facts and ends up pitting one side against the other. Liking TDS doesn't make you a troll in anybody's book, Tool'.:tsktsk:
