I don't know about being put off by a different engine. I can see how the creators of FM's would have a problem with it, since it means having to choose between the two. Relearning a new editor can be no fun. Anyway, many of us were put off by what the newer engine COULDN'T do that the old one could. Want a list?

Whilst I don't understand your need to go back and read all of my posts since 2004, I find it quite flattering, so thanks... now back to the discussion at hand, which I believe is "Which game is the best?"?
Agreeing that the game is a little dumbed down isn't agreeing at all with your statements. The game has more substance there than the previous games. Did you play the city segments? And I don't understand what is not calm about my previous post? I am not SHOUTING, maybe it's you that needs the chill pill?
