Valve did not supply the Opposing Force soundtrack with the Steam version.

I'll have you know that the Opposing Force soundtrack is one of my favourites.

Hmmm, I didn't know this. Wonder why? Luckily, I have both the old WON versions of all the original Half-Life games on disc, and have them on STEAM. I have always preferred installing them from disc, anyway.

I generally install the Steam version and play the CD- the CD soundtrack does work with the Steam versions, and alternatively you can get high-res mp3 soundtracks (with the proper filenames like prospero01.mp3) which work just as well.
