Too bad I couldnt have given him a bigger gun and health. The A51 is where I unleashed the troops to fight the transgenics, and the bots to fight transgenics. HAhaha! Just gotta love releasing enemies to fight each other. Explains why Thief FM creature clash is my favorite....</STRONG>
On my 4th time through the game, I discovered that in Hell's Kitchen, the time you go there to see Dowd, I could hang out in the front entrance to the Underworld club, snipe at a couple of troopers without even killing them, and watch them all start shooting at each other because someone got POed at the "friendly fire." The cops would get involved, too. When it quieted down, I'd open the door and fire off another shot, and the mayhem would begin afresh.
Eliminated quite a few of those guys this way. Usually I sneak through that level Thief style, but this devil-may-care, let-em-take-each-other-out routine was fun.

I enjoyed most missions but disliked Hong Kong and the final ones.
Dew Drop- in the Paris scenario when Jock drops you off you can snipe the MJ Commandos from the roof top.

I hate hated HATED Paris. I would have prefered it to be more like Hong Kong, with the ability to actually walk on the streets and do stuff. I hated having to avoid the main streets, since I always play a guy who uses the pistol and crossbow almost exclusivley and those big robots are a little too much for my geeky hacker to counter.
I loved the first missions up to HK. After that, things went a little downhill. More and more I noticed that it was becoming more linear and that violence was becoming necessary. Overall, though, it was an excellent game.

As a die hard sniper, I love the rooftops of the warehouse district and also the gas station - fly in, kill 'em all without them noticing :), get the girl, get out...marvelous.
I hate Hong Kong because it's loading all the time, except for VersaLife, which was quite scary.

Dav- I am a sniper myself, so that's the 1st thing I did when Jock dropped me off. However, that lead me to notice another game-flaw. Though you can be within 10 virtual feet from the unalerted enemy, he could look right at you, and not see you. But if you snipe someone a mile away throught the smallest hole, the alerted enemy has telescopic eyes that magically detect you.
So in other words, how the heck can the military bot or commandoes know from which direction the shot came, and what building I'm shooting them from, that they turn right around and shoot back. Lethally prescise, I might add cause they kill me sometimes.

My favorite missions of all were.....Paris..particularly Champs-Elysees and the office you break into and Icarus calls you on the phone...Hong Kong, I love all those canals and such...and anywhere else that made good use of my master sniper ability....The MJ12 breakout is nice....ever since I last played through and appearantly a panicey scientist released to 2 large Karkians when I came near...he forgot where the doors were I guess and ran straight into the mouth of a Karkian..there was nothing I could do forhim..blood everywhere. Vandenberg is nice...teh Gas Station is ok I guess...the troops tehre seem a little more jumpy than anywhere else in the game.
As for least favorite.....I guess I didnt like the statue mission as much as teh others..and the mole tunnels mission..though capping navarre was strangly satisfying..and tehn just a Laputan Machine later and POOF goes Gunther. I wish there were more places to watch NPCs fight though in the game.
And my latest enjoyment....bird hunting with a GEP gun....watching the GEP rocket track a little bird..I love it....I have seen those birds pull some evasive manuvers that would make any fighter pilot proud

Paris Catacombs were really bloody boring, worst mission on the game. Come to think of it, all of Paris before you go to Nicolette's chateau was boring. Apart from that most of the rest of the game, even the start in NYC was excellent, SPOILERS!

especially when you nuke Area 51, and then get to see what it looks like outside afterwards.

What milbots? I never found any bots other than the three small ones who are my enemies.

You're thinking of a different place, probably LaGuardia. Vandenburg is where X-51 is located; it's the place you go to right after you leave Paris.

I call the Vandenburg mission "THE DUELING BOTS LEVEL." I flip on the two override panels and pretty soon my bots and the enemy military bots are standing face to face as close as possible blasting each other mercilessly. I just sit there and watch. You would NOT want to be caught in the middle of that, err. . . exchange.
