The Sword has the most significant change. The Lost City has been filled (unfortunately) with lots of Hand Mages replacing the few craymen, which really really changes the atmosphere, and a route was added to Lost City allowing people who manage to make the arena bridge jump to get back. Most levels have AI changes, like different patrols routes, changed AI types, new AIs, different AI behaviors, increased numbers of AI, zombies don't bounce back up right away if killed impermanently, and the guards in the prison area in Cragscleft were sent on more thorough patrols, for instance. There are lots of tweaks, repairs, and improvements in most missions. The Return to the Cathedral exploit of being able to prop the front door open with bones to avoid getting trapped inside by The Eye and having to help Brother Murus was negated. Haunted Cathedral and Bonehoard were given a new type of AI, the Fire Shadow, because in TDP, the players were using up all their fire arrows and breaking the game, unable to complete objectives that require the use of fire arrows. Textures were changed somewhat in Bonehoard to give more distinctive landmarking. In TDP, two missions have two Talismans each. In Thief Gold, four missions (including two of the new ones) have one Talisman each, so the missions, level design, objectives, readables, and briefings are all different, especially Lost City's. The Talisman Map in the Keeper Chapel of Haunted Cathedral was changed to reflect the four separated Talisman locations. Thief Gold has the Easter Egg mission called the Blooper Reel (for a total of four missions), and the full version comes with DromEd, the Making of Thief Gold movie (mostly about TMA, really), desktop themes, wallpapers, cursors, and sounds. Lots of stuff. Bodies make the thud sound when dropped.

Hmmm, something tells me I didn't find Little Big World. I do remember a locked door I didn't find a key to, I think some stairs lead to it, it was probably under the first floor. Is that the access to it, or am I thinking about something else?

That door cannot be opened. You need to follow the stream that runs through the garden. You'll come to a locked gate, and the switch is behind one of the pillars.

Yeah, the basement doors cannot be unlocked. They've confused many a taffer.
