Ok I finally voted C. Claustrophobia is apt for horror games (it was great in Doom 3), but not a Thief game (unless it's only certain areas)

Now that the playthrough videos are out, that survey is a bit out of date.
The alphabet doesn't have enough letters to list all the worrisome exhibits of awfulness on display.

I disagree. Insanely open outdoor areas where you can be attacked from any angle are way more scary than claustrophobic ones where if you get attacked you can run in the opposite direction.

You have a point, but personally I find tight areas with dark corners scarier
