Tomb Raider is a pretty big franchise with many entries. Which one was your favorite?

Definitely Anniversary. I just finished TR 2013 and while it was fun in the middle, the ending had the usual problem of TR games where they try to jam in as much fighting and QTEs as possible, although it's obvious that this isn't a strength of TR. Never has been, never will be.

Any kind admins/mods here to move this to GenGaming? Kthxbye!
:D
Also: Anniversary!
I've yet to play the reboot to comment on it.

Anniversary was alright, but I still say the original Playstation version was the best of the best.
The runners up would be TR2 then Underworld.

TR2. I felt that survival horror style isolation in the Maria Doria long before I ever managed to play System Shock. I know it isn't survival horror, but the bad dudes all spoke Italian, which I don't understand, so they might as well have been aliens for all the conversation they tried to start.

TR2 made the biggest impression on me for the time it came out.

TR 1 and 2 made the biggest impression on me too. The first was a totally new kind of game and the second introduced so many cool new things and settings. Drivable snowmobiles and boats! Things like the shooting and some of the movement has always been a bit shonky though, and the latest one is the one that feels the most playable and solid as a game. And LC&GOL is my fave co-op game ever. Underworld was great too.
It's a tough call, but I'll have to go with TR2. It's the one I have the most fond memories from, despite it's age.

In terms of tomb raiding, the first game is where it's at so I answered Anniversary which takes everything the first game did right and made it better. It's a very rare game on its own, being released in a time where all games, PC and console, were in the process of being streamlined and objective marker-ed. So a remake, but also a breeze of fresh air and solid gameplay 10 years after the original and still to this day. Plus it fits nicely in the Crystal Dynamics trilogy which is mostly good.
