So what we need are some lye arrows, to cause corporeal undead (haunts and zombies) to turn into piles of muck. That would both kill the undead creature and make the floor quiet to walk on, how cool is that?
The center position on the diagram, whose symbol seems to be missing, is what the Trickster called "green" when he perfomed his ritual in T1; text (

We could surmise that this force represents life and/or nature, in some ways a combination and interaction of the 4 elements, Light and Dark.

What and where is the Thieves Reward?
(Also, where is this note found in the mission? That could give you a clue as to what noise the novices were complaining about.)

It's a note written by Hammerites found in the Bonehoard, the noises were likely the same noises you hear as you play: the undead.
The Thieves' Reward is where grave robbers ended up after getting caught or fatally careless. It could be the name of one of the many traps. It could be what they call that chasm.

I wonder if that "tissue digestion"-arrow would work fast. It would be quite a cruel weapon to use against living guards. :ebil:

It would have to have something mixed in to accelerate it, otherwise it would just cause caustic burns and piss the AI off. It would take so long to get the job done, any other weapon would be better. It could kill a living AI faster if it was "breathed" in.

Yes, but then you'd have the Thief equivalent of No One Lives Forever's 'body spray' that eliminates evidence of kills.

Or just leaves a gruesome mess that no water arrow could wash away.
I guess I should state my opinion that lye weapons are too goofy for me.

@jtr7:
I can't remember ever reading that note...
Can you tell where exactly that note is lying around?
jtr7 on 17/12/2007 at 08:10
It's lying around in your game files.:p
M4QUINT.STR is not in the mission. It probably would've been found in the Hammerite Crypts.:erg:
