I never played PSU, I played PSO though. And it was nothing short of worthless piece of shit.
And since I seem to be only person in this thread who actually plays a MMORPG...

I have to agree, many MMO's are rubbish, WoW caught my attention for about ... 5 hours, then I kinda gave the hell up and uninstalled it. I, personally, played Guild Wars rather frequently up until about a month ago when I finally got bored of doing PvP. It's ok, no monthly fee, easily run on lower-end PCs, but the community can be a bit of a hassle at times, unless you enjoy listening to idiots blather about inane bullshit from time to time.
By far, my personal favorite has been (and will be for the foreseeable future) Ultima Online. Hell, it's the original MMO, it's graphics might be dated, and gameplay a tad bit stale at times; but it's still better than any MMO I've played to date. Also, there are some pretty decent free-shards out there, if you have the patience to sift through the other rubbish shards.

Anyone heard of the new James Cameron movie? It's coming out in over a year and it's already got an MMO planned for it. :(
Avatar is its name.

At times, yes. Except there's more than one Zylon Bane. :thumb:

Well it really depends on the MMO. I usually avoid WoW like the plague but there were some which were very fun like Guild Wars(which had minimal grinding, heaps of story and a well developed PvP aspect.)

Yeah, I think if MMO's evolved along the Guild Wars route they might turn out ok. The one thing I would probably change most readily with GW was the re-assignable skill points. Variable gameplay and the ability to easily try out different playing styles, yes, but that's not very RPG'ish.

This is quite funny because Guild Wars as even less of a MMORPG than Diablo 2(Which at least had "persistent" dungeons instead of stupid instances), and Diablo 2 is not a MMORPG.
