As for Zaya, T&A or not I thought she was an admirable and attractive character more for her personal strength and conviction than just her body. ANY female lead is going to bare SOME sexual attraction to males no matter how "anti-sexy" she's made to be. Now, when Zaya starts being "put on display" like Lara Croft in the earlier Tomb Raider games, we'll talk. Till then, I don't blame her for being so dang sexy. :cheeky:

it's not like zaya was portrayed as a sex object really. She was young and female sure, but it's not like they had gratuitous cutscenes of her in the shower or anything. She didn't even have a low-cut top iirc

I remember the days before T2X had come out and all we had was the promise of a new Thief installment. When I heard the main character was going to be female, my friend and I rolled our eyes and said, "they're gonna make her too pretty, plaster her face with makeup and make her run around thieving in a leather bikini." :tsktsk: . .. . . and big surprise, we weren't far off the mark on that one.

Yeah-yeah, I got that much. :laff: If you go to The Circle and scroll down the news articles a bit you'll come to the one where that picture was submitted -- and they even mention "clearly artistic license was taken". I ment IN the game itself. It's like how the first Tomb Raider was more or less "what it was", but then all the Tomb Raiders after it started putting Lara into more "erotic" situations when it wasn't really vital to the story. Clothing got shorter and tighter and, well, you know. Wasn't till the most recent title that they actually cut back a bit on the base sexual appeal (mostly with Lara's "guns"). There's always a chance we'll get a T2X2 which will have a shower scene of something kinky like that, but till then i'll give it the benefit of the doubt. :cheeky:

Oh yeah, like YOU'D complain if Garrett went shirtless through most of Thief like The Prince in "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" did. :p I'll give you it is a bit low cut though, but i've also seen worse too. Guess when you've seen enough female heroines in skin tight suits; short-shorts; and chainmail bikinis you don't make much of a fuss about a low-cut top. :laff:

Actually, now i'm curious: How would YOU have had her dressed, Lady Taffer? No, really, i'm curious to know. When I was searching Google for a funny pic (before I found the one above) I actually had a hard time finding anything that wasn't sexy or scantly clad. Sure, I can think of a few decent ideas, but i'm more curious to know what you -- or anyone else for that matter -- would SERIOUSLY think up in that regard. Heck, maybe someone should make a post asking about that....
