I'm putting forward a motion to permanently remove that image from TTLG; it gives me a headache.
Which one? the spinny or Gamall? personally, just looking at Gamall gives me a small migrane... :erm:
As for the spinny, it was a "gift" from someone in CommChat. I figured, "hey, they went thru all of the trouble to
make me one of these, i might as well use it."

I have always found it stupid how female warriors and alike are very often dressed up in as little clothes/armor as possible. If we compare with the male counterparts, they are much more often dressed appropriately for war or whatever task they're up to. What are the authors trying to say? That females have thicker skin or what? (Yes, I do know why the authors are doing this, but I don't accept it.)
Being male, and attracted to women, I can't say I mind too much. :p
But, actually, I agree with this. For me it's like when you say a curse word repetitively over time. Eventually, it loses its meaning and becomes another casual word without any real power. Same with half-naked heroines. After awhile all the scantly-clad warriors and rogues and so on just get old. A midrift and bare legs do not the style make. Still, again, I can't say I mind it either -- just not impressed with it anymore.

. . .Um. . well Zaya's cousin did KIND OF get murdered.
I'd be pretty pissed off if that happened to one of my relatives. Anyway, the whole theme of the story is Zaya's long quest for revenge, and inbetween she talks about how much she hates the city she's in and the people in it. . that doesn't sound like someone who'd be particularly happy.
Well I wasn't expecting her to be jumping for joy, grinning ear-to-ear now. :laff: Just a little less "angry"; maybe more "gravely serious" or even "sad" if not a bit more relaxed. *Shrug*

What I mean by facial expression is that in a lot of the pictures of her in the briefing art and the cutscenes her face is completely blank.
If they made her frown a little bit more, or had her eyes widen at the right times. . little things like that would have helped, but no, most of the time she looks vaguely stoned.
Yeah, I agree. I'd expect someone in her position to alternate between a gamut of emotions: angry; depressed; tired; driven; and so on. Those could have shown much better in the cutscenes. Still, it's more than I could have done, so I can't really complain. :cheeky:

Keeper Jonas, I see sadly that you all have missed the MOST IMPORTANT sexy woman in Thief DS game, and such that I was in love with her! :-))
She is the marvelously MARLA MADISON, of the StoneMarket store!! :D :D
She has a so sensual voice, and she look really, very pretty...
The first times that I played the game, I was usued to spend some minute to stop the game in the store and to admire her!! :p
Surely she is my preferred..

While not completely unrelated to thief, I thought I'd stray onto the System Shock games and put forward my theory that Marie Delacroix (aka Teri Brosius) is possibly the sexiest female voice in any game, ever. Now why isn't there a 'drool' smiley?

Y'know -- he's gotta point. She did have a pretty sexy voice and did look a little different from an average NPC in the game. I definately thought she was pretty attractive with the platinum blonde hair and the comehither voice; Didn't hurt she was an ex-thief too. ;) Maybe we should give her her own FM, or at least a starring role, y'think? :cheeky:
Maybe should have added Black Market Bertha for the Eartha Kitt fans too. :laff:
I also seem to recall a certain eye-catching redhead outside the Hammerite temple that I believe was a local thief. Seemed more like a maiden of the sea than a street hood from the way I remember her being dressed. :)
