Oh, the article is written by that mouth breather, Tim Rogers? Hahaha.
So you're saying that the mobile/casual gaming market is all about trading IRL money for in-game currency? NO SHIT BRO
EDIT:-
Fucking Christ. This guy inanely rambles on about off-topic bullshit in his articles as much as he ever did.

A more sincere, heartfelt “how to fix Sonic” article is perhaps this Outrun 2 review from 2008, in which I call Outrun 2 the “16th best game of all-time”, and also “the best Sonic the Hedgehog game of all-time”, and I swear I am not trying to troll or be a jerk about that. It’s something I actually believe.

This article makes me wish for a simpler time where I could play an online game with consistent rules: a game where people weren't asking to trade items and there was no concept of unlock-ables.
I've never been a fan of the MMO genre where you have to spend time "earning" or buying items, so I stayed away from those games... but then those folks came and ruined my favorite genre, the online FPS.

Cool article. Regardless of its factual or intellectual value, it was a great near-rant about crappy social games. Hurrah.
That movement tutorial video game me a headache :p.
