I just wanted to see who agreed with the name Thi4f...
I personally think the name is ridiculous, for a medieval game like Thief.

I don't know how to respond, because as far as I'm aware, EM have said that Thi4f is not the name of the game. It was just their idea of a clever way to announce it.

I think it looks stupid, just like trying to make it supercool and fail with it. T4 will be my personal name for it.

According to Thief 4 FAQ:
Quote:
Is it really called Thi4f?That's a working title.
Personally, I think that's
just a working title.

First of all, I'm EXTREMELY sceptical about Thief 4.
I know few about it, but in the few I learnt I read Garrett probably wouldn't be there anymore, and that none of the original LG developers were part of the team.
So you can guess I'm never in a great mood about it.
And now I see the title will be as lame as the game...

They will change the name before the game is released. There is no doubt in my mind about that. I just think it's bizarre that they've made t-shirts with "Thi4f" printed on them...

People have no life, like the OP.
And Thief isn't, never has and never will be "medieval".
Brother_Murus on 11/12/2009 at 05:06
Sorry Mr. jtr7, sir. :o
And I didn't know what to say about the medieval thing, because it's not in the future or the present, but in the past. I don't know what the time Thief is set in is called.

Sometimes, giving a series to an entirely new team can give it a fresh lease on life. Sometimes. I'm hoping this will be the case with Thief 4.
Though I do wish they would at least get Eric Brosius back onboard for the sound. The new guy, whoever he is, has alot to live up to.
