I've written a program that makes it easy to extract object from the Enhancement Pack, along with its textures. I wrote it because I like to have include all required files with my FM rather than hoping all players have the EP installed.
I should point out that it won't overwrite existing files, so if you've made your own enhancements they will remain intact.
It can also extract objects from FM zip files, so if you get permission from the author, this program will be save a lot of digging around.

Sheesh! No takers?? Sure I'll test it. I wonder if it could be of use in extracting just the objects I want to package from my messy obj directory too. I think it could save bunches of time if it can.

Maybe people are busy preparing for Christmas, or the usefulness of this program isn't apparent.
It could extract the objects you want. You'd have to zip them up first, including the obj folder. Currently it only does one object at a time, but I can have a go at making it work on a list.

A list would be great! Does it work on meshes too?

Yes. I pm'd you the download link so you can have a go.

Will do some. 1st thought has to do with cut and paste of directory names: Browse button seems to ignore what you paste into the text box ...

I've implemented the batch extraction feature, and all Browse buttons start with the current selection. As with DEOCI, folder dialogue boxes won't scroll to selected items, but they are selected. Check your PMs.

Since the last update I noticed some problems with UAC. I think they're sorted so if you've downloaded it before this post, you'll need to re-download it.

... re-downloaded, but not looked at yet ...

I just created a FlatSwitch and I noticed it was using the old model, so I pasted the model name into EP Extractor, clicked on Extract, and it did it. It was only few seconds work because I'd already set the paths to all the necessary files and folders.
Just an example of how easy it is.
