That's pretty much spot on. King No One used the wrongful persecution of one of the other patients (the one who was blamed for Lauyrl's death) to begin an uprising. The fire was started by the pyromaniac patient. She first set fire to the staff tower and sat in a chair and watched (hence why there's a single chair facing the staff tower)./QUOTE]
Just out of interest, are these bits from text in game? Or are these interpretations?

Info gathered from in the game, and information from a dev who was kind enough to stop in and chat some time back, revealing a bunch more about the backstory of the Cradle.

Isnt there a .pdf file that has all the history and reasonings for The Cradle? If anyone finds it, best put a link to it.

I'm assuming this is the file you were looking for
If you ran a search along the lines of the cradle you'd find this in about 5 mins...
But seeing as we can't be bothered (

If a thread was made about the file you'd have a reason to be annoyed. Not because of a simple post. Mind your manners;)

I actually think there was somewhere. My bad for being a lazy sod.

As for the Architect, has anyone noticed the Hammerite-like thingie at the entrance of the Cradle? It is that glass-stained round window thingie. It looks a bit like the Hammers used at their Cathedral.
