Are you kidding me? It does not in any way embarrass me it's just that the
last few posts were disrespectful insults towards me. I'm not trying to be arrogant, in fact I didn't even know I was apparently all along acting arrogant. I'm not saying people need to love everything I do. In fact I already know that nobody's perfect and that everybody has their flaws. This thread I liked because nobody had to tell me "you can't dromed" or "you don't care about this community". That was why I got rid of that because the last few posts showed the true side to some people. Most of the comments were to help me and I completely understand that but the last few comments that Slyfoxx and Caradavin made were just not acceptable :nono:

That may be true but you shouldn't attribute comments to the wrong person. Particularly ones that upset you.
The internet is not that different from writing a letter - with pen and paper. What you write is not necessarily what someone will read. It's a tricky business. Personally, I would count the mean people at TTLG on the fingers of one hand, if that.

I just can't stand this fucking drama! I write one post and then it turns into this big mess. See this is why you shouldn't ask what people think of you because this is what will happen. The whole point of this thread wasn't even about my previous thread, it was about all the mean people on the internet in particular. Most of the people that posted on here understood my question and answered it with honest and constructive replies. When someone that is well respected like Slyfoxx calls you out on your bullshit, you are in fact spewing bullshit. My opinion.
When you state that you are going to go it alone, will create new things that are better than ever before, and do not care what anyone thinks, that rubs most everyone else the wrong way. That is especially true when you do not deliver on your promises. It is sort of like walking into a Catholic church during mass, loudly proclaiming you know more about God than the priest, and then delivering a sermon from the Book of Mormon. It is seen as offensive to those present. :joke:
TTLG is a pretty tight nit group and many people here worked on the original games. People like me are just observers and admirers of their work. New FM creators need to understand that they are attempting to join a long standing group of cooperative FM creators. You cannot just blow into town and claim victory. You may not think your comment are arrogant, but many do.
Most of the FM authors work together on projects, not just go it alone. Even the ones that create FMs alone use resources from others. There are many beta testers that FM creators rely upon. For you to discount this and tell everyone that you don't care what others do, think, and say is simply arrogant.
Actually, your very first post in that deleted thread was not perceived by me to be arrogant. I did not read between the lines, nor did I take into account your previous posts. Frankly, I cannot remember ever playing one of your FMs (are there any?) and I have played almost all T2 FMs. Maybe yours are T1.
For me, FM creators deliver when they can. I have been waiting many years for some. You seem to think that if you are 6 months late you have broken a promise to deliver. I find that extremely ambitious, but not arrogant. However, as the posts went on, you demonstrated characteristics of arrogance. That changed my opinion.
My unsolicited advice is to let this all drop and go back to working on FMs. Deliver at least one great FM that lives up to your hype and move on. Best of luck. :D

I like that this thread has moved on from theory to become an actual case study and practical demonstration thereof.
