I wonder...
You know when you are supposed to get out Ramirez's mansion, well, going out the front door is weird, and I didn't even get the alarm set off, 'cause you see, those guards in black, the two that assassinate Farkus at the beginning, well, I knock them out cold, and then I walk out, everything is fine, but I find the same guard (s) in the left courtyard and right one, with both the guard in black with the sword, he is also in the front yard too.
So why not make the guards wake-up after a while when you knock 'em out the old fashioned way with the good old black-jack?
It would be better than if they disappeared or making new ones appear...:tsktsk::nono:
Make them wake up !

Go play ThieveryUT then. You'll get your wish.

Or play it again and ghost it (no KO's, only sneaking) if you really want the challenge.

It is possible to have guards regain consciousness? I don't know of any FMs that do it...
In Running Interference, one of the guards changes position from lying on the ground, to standing upright after a while, but remains knocked out, motionless, and with his legs through the floor. I wonder if this was an experiment with AIs regaining consciousness that was forgotten?

It's not realistic, but it would be interesting as a gameplay mechanic. I think most of us have thought of it during our early experiences.

Playing Thievery, you do get a taste of that, and I've had some *oh shit* moments. Fun.

How does it compare to a zombie springing back up?:D
BrokenArts on 3/4/2009 at 23:23
They can be faster, If you are right there when one wakes up, you'd better run! I had a habit of throwing the guards up on the roof tops. They would wake up on the roof and just stand there! :cheeky: And the first time one climbed a ladder.......:erm:

Just pondering gameplay vs real life:
Does anyone know what physically(medically) happens to a person that gets hit in the "right spot" with a blackjack? Would it even be possible to wake them up?
