Lovin this FM. Thanks DL. I like the idea of revisiting older FM's. This baby is huge! Nearly 2 hrs into and I haven't done much but exploring.
Wish there were more water arrows though! Are there any stashed somewhere?

There are water arrows in the armory in the basement and there is one in a small safe in the first floor room west of the lobby.

I really love the idea of this and re-using older FMs/OMs and the concept would make a really good competition, i.e. no objectives can be the same, buildings must be the same (possibly allowing re-decoration, objects in different places, etc), some buildings that were open can be shut off now and others that were shut of could be open.
It gives you a feel for Garretts world changing, it does however mean you know the area better but then if Garretts robbed the place before then he would also know the area better.
Great mission. :thumb:

Yes, my idea was Game Continuity concerning a change in direction from the Original Story, then Garrett discovering something new leading to a New Story. "Dark is the Lair" will be it's Sequel, and all of the Quest items Collected from "Wicked Webs We Weave" will be necessary to descend into the Lair.
Thankyou Potterr, and for GarrettLoader and for Your Wonderful Site,
and for Your Great insight in Gaming.:thumb:

Finished! Great mission. I love how new objectives are continuously added as play proceeds. Please hurry with the sequel darthsLair!
Oh, and that roof spider was a real pill. I tried to get him near the explosives but he started chasing me all over the roof. Lots of fun!

Yes, Egor the Monster Vent Spider offers the Roof top thieves enough of a diversion that the player can actually enter the old vent, steal the Treasure Book and dissapear over the ledge or back thru the Vault Door. At first my thought was to have Egor as a Team Member to actually go in the ventway and Retrieve the Book, but he was too large.

Ok Im stuck...
I have managed to jump over the wall to the house behind the locked gate, yet I cant figure out how to open the bloody vault... I have found the basement, and the yellow control panel which I dont know how to activate (which i assume has something to do with the bar blocking the vault door). And am crap with figuring out codes...

BikerDude; once you figure out the code, you just punch it in to the panel and the vault door just opens. That yellow panel thingy is different in this mission unlike in the original OM. You do not have to go here to unlock the vault. There are hints in some of readables as to figuring out the code. If you are having trouble....
The code is

You breached the Presidential Estate? How did you like my electric fence?:joke: Okay if you haven't been to the Presidents office, from the vault walk straight past the Big Dome Room, and there will be a Guard station on your left. proceed to the next room, and there will be a door on your left going up some short stairs. Go thru the door and all the way up the stairs to the cat walk. You'll see a Gold framed open window(quite large) Jump through, and the presidents room is the only room accessible. You will find everything in there to start. A riddle is necessary, but which is easy to solve to enter the 4 numbers to the vault. The numbers to the Vault 2855. You wont have a key to the PortCulliss to the Presidential Estate until near the last, as you wont need it until later. Next to the Vault there is a Combination lock.
