Eva's post explains pretty much everything. No console exclusives, but some ME2 DLCs were first released on 360 and then came to the PC months later.
What the fuck? The key premium ME2 DLC all launched simultaneously on both PC and 360.

Why not just borrow these games from good people over the net and spend your money on hores or alcohol or both?

That post was so stupid I suffered a temporary sharp drop in IQ and bought the game.
If this thing turns out shit then my friend Di owes me $20. We'll find out when I have time to actually play the game I guess.

Yes the fuck. Kasumi didn't, I remember checking when it went live on the X360. Maybe it wasn't months, but there was an appreciable delay.

I say just judge it by the "was it fun?" cirteria that you've mentioned countless times.
Did ME1 have a crappy inventory system that I didn't even understand till halfway through the game because its vague and sucky? yes.
Is the story something that has been rehashed over and over again?

YesWas the "moral choice" system completely predictable, transparent, and juvenile?
I'd say probably with a strong lean toward yes.
But I had fun playing it. and I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the 2nd one as well, I think it was improved but I wouldn't say hands down it was better. I try to take these games as a full canon and so far I'm enjoying them.
I also had fun in Clear Sky so maybe my opinion doesn't count.

Side missions in ME1 get really boring. When I played it I got around half way through the game and stopped playing for 6 months, then picked it up again and loved it.
The one thing ME1 has over ME2 is Wrex.

That said, you don't actually have to do any mass effect 1 side missions. There's a few interesting ones (mostly located in the main "hub" of the game), but you can beat the game pretty quickly by ignoring all side missions and just driving straight for main quests.
