I was thinking that the delusion would be a side effect of being a puppet. The prophesies are what guides the delusion. Not that Garrett was hoping to be the one keeper but it's become Garrett's expectation to be something he doesn't want to be.

A neat community project would be remaking Thief I in Thief III instead of trying to make Thief IV. I'd imagine it'd generate some tutorials on the Thief III editor.

Heck, why stop there? Go on and make a Sims: Hammerites game where you run around trying to convert people and/or smiting people with your hammer of justice. Or even a Leisure Suit Garret who robs 'em after he gets 'em to his place.

I thought about that too & to further annoy people about my idea of Garrett being stuck in the Cradle is that child is the main character. That's why Garrett has that particular delusion because that child & Laurel are tied together (which is why Laurel approached her for help in the first place). I think this could take place 20 years after t3.
