If it's gonna be something about the Cradle that everyone wants (and I have to say, I'm interested in something like that too) I'd want some kind of story or something that goes into more detail about the patients themselves. . you could only read their case files and tidbits about them on scraps of paper found in the cradle. I'd always been fascinated by that one patient, patient no1 I believe. .the serial killer who wore the wax mask. . .that'd be interesting if we had some sort of Jack the Ripper-type story going on in at least one of the missions to make it scary. . .I mean, the city in Thief 3 really looks like the crowded slums of London in the 1880s to me anyway. .

I don't think I could honestly take another level like the Cradle, let alone a whole game based on it! (Went through too much underwear, ya know.) :o

EVERY aspect in thief 3 is different in some way to the original thief's and in no way does it live up to expectation. On top of that the story has been changed dramatically. Whenever I play thief DS the feeling is competely different, because it is not what would of happened after the ending in Thief II. Doesn't matter how much the story is liked, it isn't what it would of been. People are worried that if there is a thief 4 it won't turn out to be any good. But it's too late, it already happened with deadly shadows.
But just out of curiosity i'll have to check out cradle again sometime. Playing with the lights off gave that level a very eerie atmosphere and I just wanted to play the next level. Now that a few people have mentioned it i'm curious about the whole "cradle" plot.
