Oh fudge. Here all this time I thought Thief was based on a BBC documentary.

BBC sketch? Nah, a Monty Python sketch (which I guess is technically a BBC sketch).

Considering the ending to Thief 3 I both think (and hope) there wont be another title. Reasons being-1.all the keepers are dead now and only Garret remains 2.it would be a Tremors type thing (have you seen how awful Tremors 4 is!?!?) and 3. Just because
"Hi Strongbad, this is trevor. I'm a vampire and"

Am I the only one that has noticed that the end movie in thief 3 is a copy of what happened to Garrett in the training briefing movie in DP? How Garrett is a pickpocket on the streets, notices a keeper and decides to attempt a grab at his purse. The keeper then takes Garrett in to train him.
I think the DS ending is as simple as that. A child makes a grab for Garrets purse which makes the story at that point coincidental with the very begining in DP. Very simple and unoriginal.

It's been discussed endlessly. It just shows how his life has come full circle... that life goes on... that he was just another character for the keeper's history books.
