Why? 90% of TTLG has either 360 or a PS3 anyway.
Seems as if I'm now a member of a minority group and hopefully, therefore, eligible for some government assistance. :)
I shall now relieve my temporary boredom by composing an application for a 360/PS3 on the basis of . . .

On the basis of you never go to Gen Gaming and so haven't seen the polls there.
Also - why is anyone of repute posting in a thread with such an idiotic title/point/question?
oh shi

:laff: Dang it - I shall immediately venture forth into the unknown world of GenGaming. I admit to not being a gamer! I've only really ever played adventure games, Crazy Taxi and Resident Evil, apart from Thief. I am a sad apology for a gaming type person but will attempt to mend my ways immediately.
And being away from home for over a month now - I'm struggling to amuse myself. I expect I need to expand my horizons. :D
[Edit] And now having seen the polls I understand. B****! Just for once I thought I might qualify for something.

Money is in the consoles currently for games, it will most definitely support some current consoles (PS3 and XBox360 presumably). Hopefully it also entails a PC release.
While TDS was indeed "consolalized" (me bad English? unpossible!) it wasn't anywhere near as bad as some made it out to be. Current gen consoles are becoming more like PC's than the reverse. Longtime members of this site will love to see an Editor, because lets face it, it's hellishly fun to play the fan missions and mess around with things and it most certainly has added longevity to the games of the franchise.
Hopefully Thief 4 is developed with the differing control sets in mind so that the PC version doesn't suffer from the annoying habits of bad console ports (crap aiming, movement issues etc..)
Eidos Montreal are unknown to myself so I have no idea if they "get" Thief or if they see it as a Medieval Splinter Cell.
*shrug* time will tell.

They're becoming more like PCs in ways that are irrelevant to mitigating consolization. As long as console games are designed to be played from a couch, with a gamepad, the problem will persist.

This is not a problem. A problem will exist when the games are designed to be played while jumping, running or leaning in front of the motion-tracking camera.
