I said yes, but that means Garrett isn't the factor that will make me buy the game or prevent me from buying it. If they make a good Thief game without Garrett, I'm all over it; if they make a crappy Thief game *with* Garrett... well, I'll probably still be all over it :P.

If it's good, I'm going to buy the full package (with or without Garrett). If it's only so-so, I'm probably going to get it if I see it in some deal like I did with T3 (I needed a new soundboard and I found a deal containing T3). If it's right out bad, I'm not going to buy it, even if Garrett is in.

That's not really a yes/no question. I'm not sure how to answer. If the game is a good stealth game, I'd buy it with or without Garrett. If it is mediocre, I will catch it cheap eventually. If Garrett is in it, I'll probably buy it anyway, good or bad. :tsktsk:
