You mean the games that're coming out all the time still?

Nothing like Thief 2. I assume in this reboot I will forced to operate in certain areas; constrained by the environment; like in Dishonored. But you already knew that.
I am not going to entertain your comment any further; as it would proceed to create disruption.

I pre-ordered it.
I miss the old games where you actually had to think to win :tsktsk:
I'm curious. Why do you have it pre ordered when you already sound disappointed in the games direction?

Talk to me then.
One of the things that ruined the tension in Dishonored, something that the first 3 Thief games had in spades, was a lack of constraint. In Thief, you were actually rather limited in what you could do. You had tools to help you get around, but they were limited in numbers. You only had so many rope arrows at your disposal, and because of that, you had to make a calculated decision on when to use them. In Dishonored, all your movement tools were based around a mana meter, which would recharge back to full so long as you waited a tiny bit between uses. That allowed you to get around so much more quickly and easily in comparison to Thief.
The environments themselves were just as large, complicated, and non linear as anything you'd see in Thief. In fact, I don't think any of the missions in the first two Thiefs came close to approaching the size and scope of the three missions in The Brigmore Witches DLC.
So Dishonored constrained you to the environment? I'd say the biggest problem with the game is that it didn't constrain you enough.

Perhaps he's one of those mindless zombies (a.k.a. sheeple) that have been brainwashed by EM that I've heard people talking about.
It's a worrying phenomenon and I feel that none of us are safe. :(
I'm a sheeple too...

I really need to start looking at peoples' usernames before I read their posts.

What would that change?

You're just missing things left and right today, aren't you?
I was all ready to rage at Tomi's post, then I saw it was Tomi and realized he was taking the piss -- not the first time. He's good at that, too.

I bought it because it has thief in the title and nostalgia.
