Windows (LtHouseWin8X16) breaking when too close... - by Sycamoyr

This is probably an ultra newbie question, but... Why, when I use a "LtHouseWin 8X16" would it break when I get too close to it? I thought at first that it was because I changed the size of the object, or that it was tilted, or maybe since it was too close to the edge of a brush/other object etc. I've ruled those out and now I'm wondering why this happens. Is there a setting I can change on the object to prevent this?
One note, if I have changed the size and tilted a window, when it breaks it goes into its default position(as when it is first placed in the mission from the object hierarchy).

Remove whatever Act/React receptrons are damaging it. Not sure why it would simply break when you go near it unless there's something in the environment damaging it.
Yeah, windows have the MatGlass metaproperty which contains a WeaponStim receptron to slay it. The window in question is corpse-linked to it's broken version. Just make a new archetype under Windows with Shape>Model Name: litewin1 and add Physics > Type: OBB and Physics > Controls: Location, Rotation, and you'll have a version of the window that doesn't smash.

You didn't change the physics dimensions.

Ok, I'll let you know how that works out for me. I'm quite a noob when it comes to Dromed, so I think I know how to do all that... it'll just take some Taffing around.
*EDIT: Thanks nicked! It worked like a charm :D

Not as far as I know. I only changed the dimensions in the "D" & "H" values.
Thanks for the replies! I'm hoping to get some work done on my mission today and that was really bothering me.
